Marshfield’s annual Poetry Slam will be held this Wednesday at 7:00 in the MHS auditorium. Students will write their own poetry and then perform in front of a panel of judges, composed of three adults and two students.
Admission is free and all are welcome. It will be hosted by the Marshfield English department. Interested poets can sign up with English teacher Catherine Hampton in room 146. Today will be the last day for performers to sign up.
According to freshman Jessica Baimbridge, the poetry slam is a great way to have fun and express your thoughts
“I’m really excited to perform on Wednesday,” Baimbridge said.
