Freshman Maya Aguirre is a first-year member of the 2022-2023 Journalism staff. She is also involved in the Marshfield softball team, the largest 4-H club in Coos County, and participates in soccer clubs outside of school. She is a 4 time grand champion showing 2 different breeds of goats, she has an extreme attachment issue to her goat Jane. She enjoys photography as well, she takes photography classes guided by professional photographers to get a taste of what it's like as a career. After high school, she plans to attend OSU for her love of agricultural engineering, as well as play college softball. She is very excited to be involved with the journalism staff and plans to continue throughout the rest of her high school years.
