Homecoming Week Coverage

ASB planned a dress up theme everyday of the week leading up to the homecoming game on Friday, Sept. 25. Seniors Carli Clarkson, Rylee Trendell and DJ Herrington are dressed up for Monday’s theme, ‘Merica Monday.

 

Tuesday's theme was Twin Tuesday. Students were told to coordinate with a friend to dress alike that day. Seniors Ling Ling Zhu and Jane Suppes pictured above have been twins for homecoming week every year since they were freshman.

Wednesday was Wacky Wednesday. Senior Cassidy Keller is pictured above dressed in accordance with the theme. Students were let out early that day to participate in Fun on the Field at Pete Susick Stadium. There, students participated in activities such as face painting and a dance off.

Thursday was Throwback Thursday, students were told to wear their best attire from past decades. Above juniors Bre England, Julia Mapilisan, Katarina Allison, Connor Hammond and Senior Hannah Delgado are shown dressed as the cast of The Breakfast Club.

 

Friday’s theme was Pirate Pride. Later that night the homecoming game took place. The pirates played against Brookings Harbor. Marshfield won the game 45-20. During the halftime ceremony, senior Ling Ling Zhu was crowned homecoming queen.
