With week nine of the 2014-15 school year coming quickly to a close, teachers around the building are continuing to grade papers and enter grades to be sent home next week.
There will be no school Friday as teachers will be working on posting students’ most up-to-date grades by the end of the day. Students will be able to access these grades on StudentVue and parents will be able to do the same on ParentVue.
The nine week progress report is sent home, but not recorded as an official semester grade and does not affect a student’s grade point average. They are recorded as mid-semester grades that colleges may access. Deficiency notices will be mailed home for students who are not earning a passing grade thus far in one or more of their classes.
Conferences will be held on Thursday, Nov. 6 in the Main Gym, where parents will be able to meet with each of their students’ teachers and discuss grades.
