Senior Pirates honored in final soccer game

Marshfield girls fought hard as their final soccer game of the season wound down on Monday Oct. 24.
The Pirates lost 6-0 in a Midwestern League battle with the Springfield

Between the first and second half of the game, seniors Theresa Ambrosius, Taylor McNamee,
Estephania Perez, Jennifer Scott and Sarah Sweider where honored by coach Karl
Kennedy at senior night for their time and dedication to the program.

The Pirates finished with a record of 1-9, with a league record of 0-5.

According to McNamee, for how “young and inexperienced” the team was, they did well this season.

“We became like one big family,” said McNamee.
“It was a good end to senior year.”
