Setting for Gould
Volleyball at Marshfield High School is at an all time high this year, with three teams–one varsity and two junior varsities. These girls unite with one common goal: success.
“[It’s] definitely to win league and state this year,” said Bridget Gould, the varsity team’s right-side hitter.
Lessons have been learned since last year. Her team now aims to improve, and by doing so, get farther in the state tournament.
“We have been working hard this season and we expect great things to come from our hard work,” Gould said.
They have had a busy schedule with many games a week, however, they stay cohesive both in practice and in game.
“My relationship is really good with my team. It is better than last year,” Gould said.
Gould has had many successes in her volleyball career, including a spoken contract with the University of Oregon.
“My parents and club coaches have helped me a lot to become the volleyball player I am today,” Gould said.
