Sophomore Olivia Hoffman is going into her first year of journalism, excited to share stories with The Marshfield Times. Other than Journalism, Olivia spends her time playing tennis, performing and volunteering at The Liberty Theater in downtown North Bend, and singing alongside the Marshfield high school concert choir and New Horizons. She played varsity doubles tennis last year and hopes to do as well this spring. Olivia enjoys listening to many types of music, her favorite band being Twenty One Pilots. She Mainly likes pop and rock, but will dabble in jazz every once in a while. Writing has been one of Olivia’s strong suits since first grade. Since then, she has been writing poems and short stories in her free time. She is still unsure about what her career will be in the future, but hopes to either pursue musical theater or Social psychology. Olivia can’t wait to go through her first year as a reporter for the 2025-26 issues of The Marshfield Times.
