Northwest Fitness
Located in Coos Bay, Oregon, Northwest Fitness is a center that is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their health and wellness goals. They have many facilities, experienced trainers, and a supportive community– standing as a hub for fitness enthusiasts and beginners alike, providing an all inclusive approach to health and fitness. Northwest offers a wide range of different equipment that can be suitable to all ages and fitness levels.
Before Northwest Fitness moved to Coos Bay in 2016, they were located in Seattle, Washington. Northwest Fitness is a training facility that is dedicated to helping athletes improve their performance as well as helping them be able to achieve better opportunities.
The gym features a spacious and fully stocked weight room with a variety of strength training equipment, including free weights, machines, and function training tools. The cardio area is equipped with a wide range of machines such as treadmills, ellipticals, and stationary bikes, to enable one to try out different things.
“The place is just packed with so many different types of equipment,” said Canyon Niblett, a junior at Marshfield High School, “I enjoyed training [at Northwest Fitness] and I got a lot of support from my coaches there.”
For some Marshfield athletes, going online and training at Northwest full-time was the best option. Northwest has a section of the facility designed for student athletes to get their schoolwork done. It features a quiet workspace so that the students can stay on task and keep up with their work.
“The school work section was really handy and the coaches always made sure that I was getting my work done,” said MHS senior Gilbert Hernandez, “The coaches would dedicate some of the day to schoolwork.”
Your donation will support the student journalists of Marshfield High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
