For most average people if they want an operating system (OS) to go with their computer, whether custom built or refurbished, Windows is their choice.

What many don’t know is that instead of shelling out around one hundred dollars for a legal copy of Windows 10, people can just use Linux.

Linux is an free, open-source OS that works on every combination of hardware possible. It also is not a demanding piece of software so it will not require a beefy computer to run.

Forgotten Class?

Overshadowed during five years at Marshfield, the class of 2017 is refusing to let their senior year fall short of greatness. The “golden class” of 2016 continuously clouded over this year’s seniors. Due to their rigor in sports and academics, as well as being the first group of eighth graders at Marshfield, even now the class of 2017 feels the underlying expectations the class before them held.

Already however, steps have been made by the seniors to join together in certain activities that allow the class to get to know each other better.

iPhone 7 Review

On Sept. 7, 2016, Apple released the seventh edition of the iPhone. Sadly, it is a step back for the company, the product line and for consumer freedom. According to the GSMarena.com, the iPhone 7 has a 4.7 inch, 1334x750 pixel screen, a 12 megapixel camera, two gigabytes (GB) of random access memory (RAM) and uses Apple’s A10 Fusion processor. The A10 is a quad-core processor that runs at a clock speed of 2.3 gigahertz. The battery has a charge of 1920 mAh.

This is all well and good, but compare it to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, which was  released over three years ago on Sept. 25, 2013.
